Charms and charm bracelets are nothing new in the jewelry world. They date back over 200 years, becoming very popular during the Victorian era, used as heirloom gifts for mothers, daughters, sisters, and wives. In recent years charm bracelets and silver charms have grown immensely in popular with an immense range of brands and styles available.

The best thing about these unique jewellery items it that they can suit every budget and every taste; from the inexpensive plastic or plated metal charms, up to the more expensive precious metal and gemstone charms.

Some jewellery industry experts attribute the growing popularity of charms to their ability to help women personalize their fashion image. It is very common for women to add adornments to their clothing and accessories to make them more unique; bracelet charms are often reflective of one's mood, hobbies, and accomplishments.

It is hard to say if the recent trend in charms is here to stay; the fashion industry is very unpredictable and often full of surprises. Currently though charms and charm bracelets are the hot craze around the world, and it is hard to imagine them going anywhere anytime soon.
